Tommaso Di Bartolo

A builder’s curiosity.
A life with many chapters.

I explore where technology, business, and human potential meet through the companies I build, the ideas I share, and the conversations I bring to the stage.

The work

A founder’s experience.
A continuing curiosity.

My work has taken me through company building, startup investing, teaching, writing, and public conversations about technology. I’m the founder of Phygtl and am building Lana, a concierge for people, knowledge, and opportunities within communities.

I’m a former entrepreneurship faculty member at UC Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology. Earlier ventures, books, and technology explorations are part of the path to the questions I’m working on today.

A few moments along the way

There are people
behind every chapter.

Teaching, writing, and conversations have brought me into rooms with people asking different questions. These are a few moments from that journey.

Beyond the professional biography

A husband. A father.
A life in motion.

I’m married and the father of two young adults. I speak seven languages and deliver keynotes in English, Portuguese, German, and Italian.

Outside the work, I’m an active IRONMAN and triathlon athlete. Swimming, cycling, and running are an important part of my life.
