Decentralized Application (dApp) Development and Entrepreneurship.

Web 3.0 aims for a secure, private, and open next-generation Internet. In this course, students will collaborate in teams with three leading blockchain protocols to create prototypes based on their chosen use cases. They will receive developer support, technical, and entrepreneurial training from instructors, mentors, and guest lecturers.

Students will gain hands-on experience with blockchain, build functional prototypes, and present their work at an end-of-course demo day. Top teams will compete in the SCET Collider Cup and may be considered for UC Berkeley’s blockchain startup accelerator, the Xcelerator. Featured blockchain platforms include Polkadot, Algorand, and Ethereum.

As the Faculty of the UC Berkeley class: Entrepreneurship in Decentralized Application, dApp Course S’22, I’m glad to share that we’ve successfully completed our H1 2022 class.
